Open conference at learning through gaming for adolescents with Asperger and Tourrette’s syndromes
On May 9, the team of the RFF-Midt-funded project “Læringsverktøy for ungdommar med Asperger syndrom og Tourettes syndrom basert på spelteknologi” (“Learning tools for adolescents with Asperger and Tourrettes syndrom based on gaming technology”) presented the project’s results on a full-day, open conference at Høgskulen i Volda.
I gave a talk on Serious games, Gamification, Game Mechanics and how games can be used, in general, to motivate and engage people in the education context. A packed auditorium attended the presentation which trigger a number of questions and a discussion around the topic.
